Tutorial 03 Week 16

The difficulty of the tutorials seems to be increasing slightly but i still managed to get this weeks tasks done in a reasonable amount of time. i think what i learned form this weeks set of tasks can be applied to many different aspects of game design because sprites colliding with each other can lead to a lot of different interactions, ranging from moving other sprites to causing them to perform some kind of action. i believe this will come in handy when i begin doing animations for sprites.
the basis for all good games is the players interactions with the game world so i believe these set of tutorials have given me more of a grasp of how players can and should interact with the world. 
i would have liked if there was some work on a GUI for the rubys health as i think it would be beneficial for game testing purposes to be able to see how much health the player has at all times, be that a full health bar or even just a number on the screen to say how much health points the player still has. I found it hard to know if other aspects of the game are working as intended because i could not see if damage was being dealt.
